Old Collier sits in downtown Naples with no houses on it... You have to have a minimum net worth of 30 million to be considered to be a member. Once a member you have to write a check for $280K just to say you belong to this pristine club. Pelican Marsh is in a Gated Community with multi million dollar homes surrounding the course.
We had a blast playing in 102 degree temperatures!! Even with sweat running down our faces we both broke a score of 100 from the Blue Tees. Both evenings the Association arranged dinner at the world famous La Playa. It sits right on the Gulf of Mexico with 2 beautiful pools overlooking the Gulf. Our 1st evening together was at the Private Club, upstairs at the La Playa. A sit down 5 course meal. The last night we ate at the restaurant overlooking the ocean... This group knows how to throw an event...
Al Kinkle's Testimonial - "Thanks so much for taking the time to attend the Florida CMAA Summer Conference at LaPlaya and for your excellent presentation. Your life story and the challenges you have faced are an inspiration to me and everyone who attended."
Scott Burrows - Great Motivational Speaker for Real Estate
He made it obvious that determination and focus on ones’ goals can produce results. His message put business fears and concerns in proper perspective for our audience compared to what we are facing. I shall definitely refer him to others.

Motivational Speaker with a Formula
- that wants the attendees to leave with an understanding of the organization's values, i.e, win/win mentality, integrity, commitment, communication through listening, creativity, customers first, teamwork, trust, success through others
- and leave with the feeling that the organization supports a happy and balanced life?
You bet...here's why.
Scott shares his inspiring and motivating life-changing story as the backdrop to the formula that has hugely impacted his own life...during and after his accident...and professionally in the insurance industry and as an entrepreneur.
1. The clarity provided by having a Vision
2. The Mindset of not resisting against change, teamwork, the organization
3. Having Grit - with things that appear to be tedious in our professional lives...like being consistent with good habits, doing the right thing, treating people fairly
All of this is customized to the organization's goals and objectives.

Diversity Speaker - Scott Burrows
* While building his insurance practice, he learned how to deal with different types of people from all walks of life, from different businesses and professions.
* He did this so well that after his first year, 90% of his insurance business came from personal referrals.
* Scott also owns an exporting business - he has been successfully doing business with the Chinese for the last 12 years, using his powerful relationship skills to overcome any diversity challenges that have arisen.

Leadership and Communications Expert A Hit with Health Care

Cheryl was dynamite! She created quite an impact. The energy in the theatre was high. We had over 820 participants in the first employee session, over 700 at the second one and over 200 leaders at the leadership session - the presentation was authentic, powerful and she provided tools anyone could easily use, should they choose to. The message of personal accountability was delivered with wit, humour and passion. This was one of our most successful events!

Vince Poscente - Motivating an IT Audience
Number one is the experience. People never forget an experience. This is why I open the presentation by describing what it would be like for you to ski at 135 mph.
Number two is the content. I present a 5C strategy for peak performance in today’s more-faster-now culture. Clarity of Vision, Commitment, Consistency, Confidence and Control. IT professionals love statistics (imagine that…) and I factor in the Dr. Pulos’ research on the conscious and subconscious mind. The metaphor for conscious mind (the ant) and the subconscious mind (the elephant) is outlined in my latest book, The Ant and the Elephant.
Number three (and just as important as the first two) is the motivation. By virtue of drawing the IT people into a story of recreational skier to Olympics puts extraordinary goals within reach. As you can see on the preview DVD, I use a lot of experiential language to bring the audience into the story. This makes the content and the experience sticky.
Scott Burrows - Another MO Farm Bureau Testimonial
I had the opportunity to visit with Scott by phone prior to his speech. He was sincerely interested in what made our organization tick, and wanted to know what issues our agents are currently facing. He incorporated our discussion into his speech, personalizing it for our group.
The morning of his speech I met Scott early to do a sound and video check, and to make sure the staging worked for his presentation. We also got to visit during the breakfast prior to our awards program and his speech. You can learn a great deal about someone by working with him and conversing with him over a meal. Scott is a truly nice person, very easy to talk with, and has a warm and engaging personality.
Scott would be a great fit as a speaker for any organization, but particularly for the insurance industry, given his background as a member of MDRT. I would highly recommend Scott as a speaker to anyone.

Scott Burrows - Another State Farm Testimonial
Scott also did a very good job researching my company. He mixed company messages provided before the meeting into his presentation. I was impressed that he was able to speak our language without notes. I had and continue to have meeting participants write me notes, e-mails and letters about the motivating message Scott delivered.
Scott is very easy to work with and I enjoyed getting to know him. I've been going to kick off meetings for nearly 15 years and I have to say Scott's presentation was one of the most motivating messages I've been a part of at a meeting.
I plan to use Scott again and appreciate who he is and what he has to share! The world is a better place having a Scott Burrows around!!

Yossi Ghinsberg - Motivation for the Health Industry

Date: February 7, 2007 11:21:37 AM GMT+10:00
To: "yossi ghinsberg"
Subject: January 29, 2007
It was amazing to all who attended how you could weave a gripping tale of survival in the Amazon, against all odds, into a story that had practical application in all of our lives. Somehow you were able to open up the complexities of the universe with all its wonders and its bounty and demonstrate how it has a positive message that correlates to the most common levels of everyday life.
For me, personally, I know your message is something I will always carry with me. With all warmest regards and affection,
Jerry C. Meyer

Yossi Ghinsberg on Overcoming Adversity
Here are some of the messages Yossi shares in each of his presentations:
- In extreme adversity, the hero in each of us rises.
- Nobody escapes adversity, it is part of life. Being a victim of adversity is always a choice.
- When your vision and purpose are clear, the rest is technical.
- When you’re one with what you are doing, mountains move - walls collapse.
Here are some highlights from Yossi’s experience:
- He was lost in the jungle alone for 21 days.
- He had no food, no water, no weapons to defend himself.
- He survived numerous white water rapids, a huuuuge waterfall that should have killed him, a jaguar attack, the worst monsoon flood the indigenous people had ever experienced, attacks by red and fire ants, etc, etc.
Yossi's experience is like something you would read in a novel and his presentation is so powerful it’s like attending a movie. The big difference is he uses no visuals - his words are so powerful that you are in the jungle, in the rushing waterfall and experiencing everything with him as if you were the one lost in the jungle.
Yossi's Power to Survive (the title of his signature keynote) is a must see / hear / experience for every organization who need to breathe life into their people!

Scott Burrows - Perfect for Sales Audiences
Why does Scott resonate so well with a sales audience? Here's why:
- A former life insurance agent (with Northwestern Mutual Life) who grew his business through 90% referrals after his 1st year.
- He achieved the Million Dollar Round Table in just 5 years - he knows what it's like to be paid on commission.
- He runs his own exporting business, which means he is accountable for prospecting and closing deals while paying for all overhead and expenses.
Jeff Salz - Himalayan Adventure Sold Out Again!
Cary Mullen on Leadership
Teamwork Wins: Harness the power of a team to save time and energy, stay motivated and increase your own personal results and the results of the team.
Be Resilient: Persevere through adversity with adaptable persistence and keep defeat from deflating you while you modify your approach to get even better results in the future.
Vince Poscente on Leadership
Vince Poscente, a business consultant and inductee into the Speaker Hall of Fame, used his unique perspective on leadership to reach the gold medal round of the Olympic speed-skiing competition only four years after deciding to compete—with no previous racing experience. With every effort concentrated on achieving his own top speed, he began to develop a formula of 'leadership for the self' which has since permeated every aspect of his business and personal life. During his keynote, Vince shares these 2 messages from his 'leadership for the self' formula:
- Do what the competition is not willing to do.
- Use the speed of life and business to your advantage rather than resist it.
