Vince Poscente - Information Technology Audience

IT professionals have experienced a great deal of transition in the last decade. They may have signed up for “tech jobs” but have found themselves as key players; they are now oriented as a profit center and under pressure to understand the human condition. The above transitions run parallel with the theme of my next book, The Age of Speed - what to do with an oncoming force - you embrace it and use it to your advantage. Growth in this market place will be facilitated by the leadership groups who grasp and embrace innovation.

Yossi Ghinsberg - Motivation for the Health Industry

Yossi,
As you are aware at Aegis we have some incredibly powerful speakers at our annual meetings, but you are among the most impressive we have ever had.

It was amazing to all who attended how you could weave a gripping tale of survival in the Amazon, against all odds, into a story that had practical application in all of our lives. Somehow you were able to open up the complexities of the universe with all its wonders and its bounty and demonstrate how it has a positive message that correlates to the most common levels of everyday life.

Our team of senior managers left your presentation filled with an inspiring view of how each of them could take the adversities that are sometimes thrown at them, put these challenges in perspective and turn them into positive growth experiences. Yours is a message not of some ethereal value, but it touches all who hear it with a sense of wonder and of awe at the power each of us has.
For me, personally, I know your message is something I will always carry with me. With all warmest regards and affection,

Jerry C. Meyer

Yossi Ghinsberg on Overcoming Adversity

This Monday, I had the honor of watching Yossi totally captivate an audience. What an incredible storyteller! AND his story is one of the best I’ve seen for inspiring organizations that are going through tough stuff. Yossi puts things into perspective - a perspective that inspires us to treasure each adversity because life is never short of a miracle.

Here are some of the messages Yossi shares in each of his presentations:
  • In extreme adversity, the hero in each of us rises.
  • Nobody escapes adversity, it is part of life. Being a victim of adversity is always a choice.
  • When your vision and purpose are clear, the rest is technical.
  • When you’re one with what you are doing, mountains move - walls collapse.

Here are some highlights from Yossi’s experience:

  • He was lost in the jungle alone for 21 days.
  • He had no food, no water, no weapons to defend himself.
  • He survived numerous white water rapids, a huuuuge waterfall that should have killed him, a jaguar attack, the worst monsoon flood the indigenous people had ever experienced, attacks by red and fire ants, etc, etc.

Yossi's experience is like something you would read in a novel and his presentation is so powerful it’s like attending a movie. The big difference is he uses no visuals - his words are so powerful that you are in the jungle, in the rushing waterfall and experiencing everything with him as if you were the one lost in the jungle.

Yossi's Power to Survive (the title of his signature keynote) is a must see / hear / experience for every organization who need to breathe life into their people!

Scott Burrows - Perfect for Sales Audiences

Yesterday Scott spoke in Kansas for State Farm and he was an absolute hit – 2 standing ovations and the Agency VP asked us to ship him 4 preview DVDs so he can promote Scott to the 4 other regions he manages. Watch for the testimonial coming soon!

Why does Scott resonate so well with a sales audience? Here's why:
  • A former life insurance agent (with Northwestern Mutual Life) who grew his business through 90% referrals after his 1st year.
  • He achieved the Million Dollar Round Table in just 5 years - he knows what it's like to be paid on commission.
  • He runs his own exporting business, which means he is accountable for prospecting and closing deals while paying for all overhead and expenses.
Many of the sales groups he's spoken for have never heard a personal interest story that also brings sales experience to the table.

Jeff Salz - Himalayan Adventure Sold Out Again!

The 2007 Mountains and Monasteries Expedition is completely sold out except for one lucky bureau agent who will be awarded their spot after the Trek contest ends on March 31, 2007. This expedition promises to be as life-changing as last year's, full of spiritual-minded seekers interested in the joy of discovery and the fellowship of a unique, shared adventure. A handful of folks who don't mind a little rigor and discomfort in pursuit of the experience of a lifetime. To see just exactly what Jeff has planned for everyone click here.

Cary Mullen on Leadership

Cary Mullen currently holds the World Downhill Speed Record for skiing 97 miles per hour down the world’s most famous ski course in Kitzbuhel, Austria. Cary was a non-prodigy who used the leadership skills inherent in the five Winning Secrets™ to ultimately become a two-time Olympian and World Cup Champion. During his keynote, Cary shares 2 or 3 of the Secrets - those that are most pertinent to the organization, such as:

Teamwork Wins: Harness the power of a team to save time and energy, stay motivated and increase your own personal results and the results of the team.
Be Resilient: Persevere through adversity with adaptable persistence and keep defeat from deflating you while you modify your approach to get even better results in the future.

Vince Poscente on Leadership

Vince Poscente, a business consultant and inductee into the Speaker Hall of Fame, used his unique perspective on leadership to reach the gold medal round of the Olympic speed-skiing competition only four years after deciding to compete—with no previous racing experience. With every effort concentrated on achieving his own top speed, he began to develop a formula of 'leadership for the self' which has since permeated every aspect of his business and personal life. During his keynote, Vince shares these 2 messages from his 'leadership for the self' formula:

  • Do what the competition is not willing to do.
  • Use the speed of life and business to your advantage rather than resist it.
